In 2013, the regulations changed. The requirements for G11 courses fell away. Instead, there was a requirement that slings, straps and signal transmitters must, as a minimum, have documented safety training, in accordance with the regulations on the performance of work § 10-1, if it follows from the employer’s risk assessment.

The goal of the training is that the person who is given training acquires
basic knowledge and practical skills on safe use of lifting gear and proper signaling and communication with the crane operator, so that accidents are avoided.

Admission terms: No special beyond the minimum age and have health that is appropriate for slinger.
