The Norwegian authorities require that employees who use lifts (personal lifts) can document practical and theoretical training in their use. The employer is responsible for ensuring that the employees have the necessary training. («Regulations on the performance of work» no. 1357, § 10-2 Requirements for documented safety training when using work equipment.) The course provides a basic theoretical and practical introduction to the safe use of lifts (personal lifts). Certificates of competence are issued to the participants to meet the law’s requirements for documentation.
Purpose: To provide course participants with increased knowledge and awareness of safety measures, in order to avoid personal injuries and accidents in the workplace.

Prerequisites: turned 18 years old.
