We offer  courses  in hot work to anyone who performs hot work where the insurance companies require certification.

The course is approved by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association and is based on film, animation and active participation. Through the presentation of realistic events, work tasks, review of routines and risk assessments associated with the performance of hot work, you will acquire useful knowledge and good attitudes.

The goal of the course

Give the participants:

• The expertise required by the insurance companies for hot work.
• Increased knowledge, skills and attitude that will influence the execution of hot work to take place safely and securely, and without the risk of fire.
• Knowledge of current requirements, laws and regulations for the use of hot work on and off the construction site.
• Knowledge of fire extinguishing equipment and its use.
• Knowledge of current safety and protection measures.

Practical information:

You order and start the course. After passing the exam, you must complete a practical firefighting exercise and have it documented. When we have received documentation of completed extinguishing exercise, you will receive a certificate for hot work (the extinguishing exercise must be completed during the last two years or within 3 months after this course has been completed) Documentation of completed extinguishing exercise is sent to administrasjon@kursconsult.no within three months after passing the course.

Note this before you start:

The course must be completed within 30 days after it has begun, and has a final exam you must pass. Included in the course are up to three exam attempts . You have 45 minutes available for the exam. You must send documentation of completed firefighting exercise within 3 months after completing the course

Deviations from these points mean that you have to buy and take the course again!

Who is the course suitable for?

Employees in craft companies who will work with the execution of Hot work such as: Welding, soldering, cutting, roofing, use of angle grinder, heat gun etc.

In addition to Norwegian, we can also offer  the course  in Polish. 

Certificate

The Norwegian Fire Protection Association issues:

Certificate is included in the price! The certificate is awarded in the app BVis, as an app for tablets and mobiles that contains your certificates issued by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association. If you want a plastic card, there is an additional fee of NOK. 499, – (+ postage and admin).
