Basic work at height

The purpose of the work at height course is to give those who will be working at height knowledge about safe use, daily control and maintenance as well as disposal rules for different types of scaffolding, ladders and work platforms as well as a bit about fall protection equipment. After completing the Work at Height course, participants must be able to choose the correct equipment for the work they will be carrying out. When you are aware of the dangers that can arise, you will be able to create the conditions for a safe workplace.

• Inspection and maintenance, daily and periodically

Purpose: The course will provide an overall introduction to responsible employers and managers who must supervise work at height and that the safe use, control and maintenance of various types of scaffolding, ladders, lifts and fall protection equipment is carried out in the workplace.

Practical information

• When you have ordered a course, you will find it on  “my page”  “registered courses”  Click on the course to get to the course home. Then click on the button “Start course”, or “continue course” if it has already started.

• You must mark all lessons as complete to move on.

• The course has knowledge tests along the way, where you must have 80% correct answers to pass.

• Practice documents are sent to: adminisjtrasjon@kursconsult.no  or uploaded to the course portal in (pdf). Assessed as “approved/not approved” 

• After you have completed the theory part and any practical part, you will receive your course certificate by e-mail. You can also download your course certificate from “my course certificates”

The course is available in  Norwegian, English and Polish
