FSE course with first aid

The Regulations on Safety in Work and Operation of Electrical Installations (FSE) require that employees complete an annual FSE course. The requirement applies to all personnel working on or near electrical installations. The training must be completed at least once per year, and more frequently if working conditions warrant.

The course is relevant for anyone who works with electricity, including:

• Installation and electrical companies with fitters, apprentices and assistants
• Industrial companies with their own electrical personnel
• Instructed personnel, such as janitors, operations managers, plant operators, and production employees

The course also includes a separate first aid section , focusing on electrical accidents and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) . Participants will gain practical and theoretical knowledge to handle emergency situations safely and effectively.

• Regulations and safety requirements (FSE § 7–14)
• Technical terms and definitions
• Responsibilities and duties
• Planning work
• Safe working methodology
• Use of protective equipment and instructions
• Maintenance and control routines
• Handling accidents
• First aid and CPR in case of electrical accidents

• Click on the course to open the course homepage and press   “Start course”   or   “Continue course”  .
• All lessons must be marked as completed to move forward.

📝  Knowledge tests and practice

• The course includes tests throughout the course. You must get   at least 80% correct answers   to pass.
• Any internship documents must be sent to   administrasjon@kursconsult.no   or uploaded as PDF in the course portal. They are assessed as   “approved” or “not approved”  .

📄  Course certificate

• Once the theory part and the practical part (if applicable) are completed, you will receive a course certificate.
• You can also download it from   “My course certificates”  .
