HSE basic course
The goal of the HSE basic course is to provide managers and employees with good general HSE basic training, where they gain insight into their rights and obligations, as well as knowledge of important tools in HSE work. The course also provides an opportunity to document competence in health, environment and safety work, so that both managers and employees are equipped to safeguard safety and the working environment in the workplace.
Contents:
- Purpose of the Act and Employer’s Duties
- Tools and requirements in HSE work
- Registration, notification, safety representative
- Working environment committee, information and discussion, internal control measures
- Requirements for working hours, employment conditions and protection against discrimination
- Disputes, supervisory bodies and penalties

📝 Knowledge tests and practice

The course includes tests throughout the course. You must get at least 80% correct answers to pass.

Any practice documents must be sent to administrasjon@kursconsult.no or uploaded as PDF in the course portal. They are assessed as «approved» or «not approved» .
📄 Course certificate

When the theory part and the practical part (if applicable) are completed, you will receive a course certificate.
